What you'll be doing
You'll manage the full accounting function end-to-end, including:
Full responsibility for debtors, creditors, banking, petty cash, and reconciliations
Monthly management reporting, including Income Statements and Balance Sheets
Rolling weekly cash flow forecasts with clear insights for decision-making
General ledger, balance sheet, and fixed asset reconciliations
VAT preparation and SARS e-filing, ensuring full statutory compliance
GP% analysis, margin investigations, and performance reporting
Intercompany loan account reconciliations
Maintaining statutory and compliance documentation (CSD, TCS, and related requirements)
Managing, mentoring, and developing finance team members
Supporting audits and engaging with statutory and B-BBEE auditors
What we're looking for
B.Com in Accounting or Finance
Solid working knowledge of IFRS / relevant accounting frameworks
Strong experience with statutory taxes and SARS E-Filing
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data analysis)
Exposure to ITS / NAV (advantageous)
Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Experience with system implementations or migrations (advantageous)
