The Role
Lead the hospital EXCO and multidisciplinary management team
Develop and execute site strategy aligned to broader organisational objectives
Drive financial performance, market share growth and operational sustainability
Identify new business development opportunities and expand specialist networks
Build and strengthen relationships with doctors, specialists and key healthcare stakeholders
Oversee governance, compliance and regulatory alignment
Champion transformation, inclusivity and a high-performance culture
Drive innovation, digitisation and the implementation of modern healthcare technologies
The role requires a strong balance of commercial acumen, strategic thinking and emotionally intelligent leadership.
Requirements
Relevant Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) essential
Postgraduate qualification advantageous
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role
Proven experience within a hospital and/or service-related environment
Demonstrated ability to grow market share and achieve financial targets
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
Sound financial and business management knowledge
In-depth understanding of the healthcare legislative and regulatory environment
