Appointment requirements
Grade 12
An appropriate trade test as Electrician (red seal)
Wireman's licence - registered at the Department of Labour
At least two years' relevant experience as Electrician after the trade test
A valid Code B driving licence
Computer literacy with SAP knowledge
Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
Primary functions
Supervise the electrical workshop and specific specialised tasks
Ensure safe operations to adhere to safety rules and regulations as per the Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Ensure that work meets quality and safety standards
Plan and allocate tasks to team members, monitor progress and report to manager
