Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer is responsible for managing the reception area, welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes when required.
Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information to customers and staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.
Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth communication.
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other office documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
OND in any relevant field.
Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
