We are seeking a courteous, wellÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂorganized, and patientÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂfocused Front Desk Officer to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from registration to departure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warmly welcome patients, visitors, and families to the hospital.
Manage patient registration, update records, and verify necessary documentation.
Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct enquiries appropriately.
Coordinate patient flow by guiding them to the appropriate departments.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and patientÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂfriendly.
Assist patients with filling forms, understanding procedures, and basic information.
Receive and sort mail, deliveries, and internal communication.
Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and administrative staff for seamless service delivery.
Adhere to hospital policies, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
2 - 3 years experience as a front desk officer, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients.
Knowledge of hospital processes, patient registration, or HMO procedures is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Neat appearance, empathy, and strong customer service orientation.
