Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Work with the External & Internal Sales teams to meet and where possible exceed the customer's requirements/expectations, which includes:


Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Separation Technologies Products.
Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with the experienced sales or sales team leader.
Look for and manage leads from the market, customers and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure healthy pipeline.
Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
Runs the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
Share inputs to develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs, stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
Be active member of Separation Technologies (SET) Business Unit and Food & Pharma Division with a team spirit mindset.
Work proactive and structured way to serve customers. Adapt to Customer-first mindset as per Alfa Laval culture.

Qualification & Experience


Chemical / Mechanical Engineering graduate or Diploma holder with proven experience as a Field Sales Engineer.
Must possess strong capabilities in sales management, conducting plant visits, and effective customer communication
Minimum 5 Years of experience in any similar Food & Pharma Industries.
