Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and reliable General Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor installation tasks across our facility. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver capable of handling routine maintenance activities independently while ensuring the workplace remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building fixtures, furniture, and equipment, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and office spaces for events or reconfigurations.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Carry out general maintenance tasks such as painting, assembling equipment, and minor landscaping.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and monitor work quality.
Maintain an inventory of maintenance tools and supplies and report replenishment needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in general maintenance, facility maintenance, or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is an advantage.
