Job Role
The General Manager - Isuzu (Automotive) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the Isuzu automotive business. The role oversees sales, after-sales service, parts procurement, customer experience, financial performance, and business growth while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Drive business growth and profitability of the Isuzu division.
Ensure excellence in vehicle sales, spare parts, and after-sales services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Isuzu manufacturers and key stakeholders.
Lead high-performing teams to achieve operational and financial targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company objectives.
Identify market opportunities and drive expansion initiatives.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Establish annual business plans and performance targets.
Sales & Business Development
Drive vehicle sales and market share growth.
Oversee fleet sales and key account management.
Build strong relationships with corporate clients and government institutions.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Operations & After-Sales Management
Ensure efficient management of workshops, service centers, and spare parts operations.
Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
Ensure compliance with Isuzu operational and service standards.
Optimize operational processes for efficiency and profitability.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor revenue, costs, and profitability.
Ensure effective inventory and procurement management.
Review and approve major expenditures.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers.
Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA or Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Minimum 10 - 15 years' experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in senior management.
Strong understanding of Isuzu vehicles, spare parts, fleet management, and after-sales operations.
Proven track record in business growth and profitability management.
