Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, one must have:
Be a Kenyan Citizen; and
Served in the grade of Graphic Design Assistant III or in a comparable position in the Public Service for at least three (3) years;
Diploma in Graphic Design or its approved equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpretation of designers rough sketches and turning them into finished drawings under guidance and supervision of a senior officer;
Typography setting;
Pasting drawings, layout of artistic drawings and sketches;
Drawing illustrations; and
Cover designs of booklets, magazines and printing works.
