Artcaffé is seeking a passionate and curious Graphic Design Intern to join our in-house Creative Department. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, design-driven environment while contributing to one of Kenya's leading lifestyle and hospitality brands.
As part of the team, you'll support the Creative Department in developing visual assets across multiple platforms-from social media and menus to packaging and in-store communication. You'll receive mentorship from experienced designers and contribute to real brand projects that reach thousands of customers daily.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in the design and production of visual content including social media posts, flyers, menus, packaging mockups, and other brand materials.
Adapt and update existing layouts and templates under guidance from the design team.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh visual ideas. Organize and maintain digital asset libraries and design files.
Take part in internal design reviews, actively incorporating feedback to improve creative output.

Timely delivery and quality execution of assigned design tasks.
Consistent adherence to Artcaffé's brand identity and visual standards.
Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and proactive engagement in team discussions.
Demonstrated growth in design skills, creativity, and technical proficiency throughout the internship period.


Qualifications


Diploma or degree (or currently pursuing) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Canva is an advantage.
Understanding of key design principles including typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
A curious, positive, and growth-oriented mindset.
A portfolio (student or personal projects accepted) showcasing creativity and design potential.
