Job Summary


We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head, Estate Surveyor to lead and manage all real estate and property-related operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee property valuation, estate management, leasing, and advisory services while ensuring optimal utilization of assets and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and business development capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


Lead and manage all estate surveying functions including valuation, property management, and consultancy services.
Oversee property portfolio management to ensure optimal performance and value maximization.
Conduct property valuations for sales, leasing, acquisition, and investment purposes.
Manage leasing activities including tenant sourcing, negotiations, and lease administration.
Provide professional advice on property investment, development, and asset management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in estate surveying practices.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, property owners, developers, and stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor estate surveyors and support staff to ensure high performance.
Monitor market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare and review valuation reports, feasibility studies, and property documentation.
Drive business development initiatives to grow the company's real estate portfolio and client base.
Resolve property-related issues including disputes, maintenance concerns, and tenant matters.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams on property transactions and agreements.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience, with leadership experience in estate surveying.
Professional certification (e.g., NIESV, ESVARBON) is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of property valuation, real estate management, and market dynamics.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple properties and projects effectively.
