Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Growth & Strategy to lead audience expansion, revenue growth, and long-term business strategy.
This role will work closely with editorial, commercial, andcontentteams toidentifyand execute growth opportunities while maintainingNairametrics' editorial standards.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Audience Strategy:
Develop and execute strategies to grow website traffic, subscriptions, and audience engagement
Work with editorial and digital teams to align content with growth objectives
Identifyhigh-performing content areas andoptimizedistribution across platforms
Revenue & Commercial Strategy:
Drive growth in advertising, sponsored content,outreachand partnerships
Expand and optimize non-ad revenue streams including events, seminars, webinars, podcasts, and branded products.
Strategy & Business Development:
Identify new growth opportunities, products, and markets
Lead strategic partnerships with banks,fintechs, corporates, and institutions
Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform leadership decisions
Develop short- and long-term growth roadmaps
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Work closely with Editorial, Sales&Marketing,Content, andITteams
Align teams around shared growth priorities
Ensure growth initiatives support, not compromise, editorial integrity
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field
Applicants must currently hold, or have previously held, a senior management position
Strong analytical and commercial acumen
Experience working with data, performance metrics, and growth experimentation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Prior experience in media, fintech, or data-drivenorganisationsis an advantage.
