Head of Inventory

About the role: Oversee inventory management and stock control across all branches and warehouses. Develop and implement effective inventory control policies, procedures, and systems. Monitor stock movements, stock levels, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Coordinate periodic stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits. Investigate stock discrepancies, shrinkage, damages, expiries, and unexplained losses. Analyse inventory data and provide actionable reports to Management. Ensure proper inventory documentation and compliance with established procedures. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Audit, Warehouse, and Branch Operations teams. Identify opportunities to optimize stockholding costs and improve inventory turnover. Supervise and evaluate inventory personnel across the organization.
