Job Summary
The Head of Medical Services will be responsible for:
Providing strategic leadership and clinical oversight for all medical and public health services in the organization.
Planning, coordinating and supervising the delivery of quality healthcare services in line with regulatory and ethical standards.
Developing and implementing health policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures to improve service delivery.
Monitoring and evaluating clinical performance, patient outcomes, and public health indicators using tools such as SPSS and Epi Info.
Leading disease surveillance, epidemiological analysis and health reporting for management decision-making.
Managing medical personnel, including recruitment input, training, performance management and discipline.
Preparing and presenting medical, statistical and management reports using MS PowerPoint and other reporting tools.
Ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations, professional standards and accreditation requirements.
Coordinating continuous professional development, workshops and training for medical and allied staff.
Advising management on health risks, preventive healthcare strategies and public health interventions.
