About the Role

Nairametrics is looking to hire a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and drive the company's revenue growth. This role combines both strategy and execution and is suited for someone who is comfortable building relationships, closing deals, and improving how the company positions and sells its services.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of sales performance while also overseeing marketing efforts that support client acquisition and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities


Drive revenue growth across Nairametrics' commercial offerings including sponsored content, corporate partnerships, events, and reports.
Identify and engage potential clients, pitch the company's products, and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upsell opportunities.
Oversee marketing activities across digital channels, campaigns, and events to attract and retain clients.
Work with internal teams to ensure products and offerings are clearly positioned and meet market needs.
Lead and support the sales team by setting targets, tracking performance, and ensuring consistent delivery on revenue goals.


Requirements


Minimum of 7 - 10 years' experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles.
Proven ability to generate revenue, close deals, and manage client relationships.
Experience in media, fintech, financial services, or a related industry is an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
