Job Summary
The Head of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing market share, developing strategic partnerships, and promoting the organization's health insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:
Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities in corporate, SME, government, and individual health insurance markets.
Lead Business Development Activities;
Prospect and acquire new clients.
Negotiate and close contracts with corporate organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Drive Revenue and Market Growth:
Meet and exceed premium income and membership enrollment targets.
Expand the organization's market presence and competitive position.
Manage Sales and Marketing Team:
Recruit, train, coach, and supervise sales and marketing personnel.
Set KPIs and monitor team performance.
Develop Marketing Campaigns:
Design and execute marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Coordinate digital marketing, events, roadshows, and promotional activities.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, agents, healthcare providers, and regulatory stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Development and Market Intelligence:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Provide input into the design and enhancement of health insurance products and benefit plans.
Tender and Proposal Management:
Prepare and review business proposals, bids, and presentations.
Lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions.
Customer Retention and Account Management:
Develop strategies to improve client retention and renewal rates.
Address client concerns and ensure prompt resolution of service issues.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Prepare periodic sales forecasts and management reports.
Analyze sales performance data and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with regulations issued by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and other relevant authorities.
Strategic Partnerships:
Develop partnerships with brokers, healthcare providers, trade associations, and corporate organizations to expand business opportunities.
