Requirements
Relevant BTech or Degree qualification
8 years' relevant experience as per KPA's below
At least 5 years' appropriate experience at managerial level
Extensive experience in project management
Experience in tender life cycle administration
Exposure to a Waste Management environment will be advantageous
Computer Literacy essential including SAP
A valid driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas
Providing input into the development of policies and strategies
Providing technical specialized input
Coordinating the management of Area Cleaning Operations including street cleaning, illegal dumping beach cleaning, informal traders waste, etc.
Collection and Area Cleaning services in Informal
Settlements and coordination of law enforcement activities in the area.
Providing Project Management and Special project support
Managing the design and coordinating the implementation of special cleaning projects and programmes, the review thereof as well as reporting on all such projects.
Tender Life Cycle Management
Financial/ Budget Management for both the Unit and Branch and recommending on areas of improvement
Human Resources Management
Asset Management
Managing the planning and coordinate the implementation of Expanded Public Works Program projects in Urban Waste Management Directorate.
