A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or BTech) in the Built Environment (Civil / Structural Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying)
Registration with a Built Environment Council.
5 - 8 years' Experience in a construction project management environment.
Computer Literacy in MS Office and MS


Key Performance Areas


Manage built environment projects from Initiation to Close Out.
Engaging, facilitating and managing both internal and
external customers, departments and other entities during the project life cycle.
Ensuring the conceptual and tangible implementation of projects by managing the planning and implementation phases.
Implementing appropriate communication strategies with
various role players to ensure information sharing and shared work.
Implementing change management strategies required to guide the approach and pace of new projects.
Manages and encourages people, optimizes their outputs and effectively manages relationships to achieve municipal goals.
Manages and monitors project financial risk.
Facilitating inter-departmental and inter-directorate project coordination.
Developing, implementing and managing the Directorate
Tenders and Contracts as per the City's relevant strategies policies, procedures, systems and processes.
Develop project specific risk strategies and plans.
Drawing up complex reports and correspondence.
Delivering various projects and programmes within predetermined parameter
