Job Summary
The Hostel Nanny will provide care, supervision, and emotional support to primary school boarders, ensuring their safety, hygiene, and overall wellbeing within the hostel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise pupils during morning routines, evening prep, meals, and bedtime.
Assist pupils with personal hygiene, dressing, and basic life skills.
Ensure hostel rules, routines, and child safeguarding standards are strictly followed.
Monitor pupils' health and promptly report concerns to hostel management or the school nurse.
Support a nurturing, disciplined, and child-friendly hostel environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in child care, boarding school, or similar setting.
Ability to work with young children patiently and responsibly.
Basic literacy and good communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and reside on campus (if required).
Background in Early Childhood Care is an advantage.
