Summary


The Yoruba Language Teacher will be responsible for teaching Yoruba language and culture to primary and secondary school students in line with the approved curriculum and school standards.


Key Responsibilities


Teach Yoruba language effectively at primary and secondary levels.
Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials.
Assess students through tests, assignments, and examinations.
Promote Yoruba culture, values, and proper language usage.
Maintain classroom discipline and support students' academic growth.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.


Requirements


Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in Yoruba or related field.
Teaching experience at primary and/or secondary level.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for indigenous language preservation and education.
