Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure exceptional guest service.
The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security teams to maintain high operational standards, guest satisfaction, and efficient hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly resolve complaints or concerns.
Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and maintaining adequate staffing levels.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and report operational needs or shortages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Prepare operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Support revenue-generating activities and help achieve hotel occupancy and service targets.
Handle emergency situations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, HND, OND, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in hotel operations, hospitality supervision, or a similar role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software is an advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
