Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for a reputable engineering and construction company.
The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and HR strategy to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management activities.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
Prepare HR reports and provide strategic HR support to management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 - 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
