Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's human resources functions, ensuring effective workforce management, compliance with employment laws and company policies, employee engagement, talent development, and the implementation of HR strategies that support business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, promotions, transfers, and exit processes.
Lead recruitment and selection activities to attract and retain qualified employees.
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, leave, and general workforce compliance.
Oversee payroll inputs, compensation, benefits, pensions, HMO, PAYE, NHF, and other statutory HR-related processes.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Coordinate training, learning, and development programs based on identified employee and business needs.
Experience
Maximum of 5 years' relevant HR experience, with at least 2 - 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
Experience working with HRIS and HR reporting tools.
Experience in a fast-paced or corporate environment is an advantage.
