Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, people-smart HR Officer to join our People function. This role supports the full employee lifecycle across our operating countries — from recruitment to exit. It is a generalist HR role and an excellent launchpad for a serious HR career. No prior HR job title is required — NYSC experience in an HR or administrative function is valid experience.
Kery Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment across assigned business units: job posting, screening, scheduling, offer letters, and onboarding
Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
Administer HR compliance with Nigerian labour law and multi-country regulatory requirements
Support performance management cycles: probation, quarterly reviews, disciplinary processes, and exit documentation
Process payroll inputs; manage HMO enrolment, pension administration, and leave tracking
Track headcount, attrition, and staff movement; produce monthly HR reports for leadership
Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate staff learning and development activities
Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on policy, benefits, and HR procedures
Manage internal communications and the employee engagement/feedback process
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or related discipline
0 - 3years experience in an HR, administrative, or people-facing role (NYSC HR/admin placement counts)
CIPM student membership or part-qualification is an advantage - not required
High level of discretion and confidentiality; strong attention to detail
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with HR software is a plus
