Job Description
Novus Media seeks to appoint a diligent Human Resources Intern in the HR Department. This position is based in the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for a student studying towards a qualification or just finished a qualification and requires in service training/work exposure for a period of 12 months. The successful incumbent will work closely with the Group Human Resources team and will report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To assist the HR department with:
The recruitment process, e.g., screening of applications, selection, assessment and placement
On boarding, orientation and induction process
Compiling related HR reports
HR transactions (contracts, filing, etc.)
Governance and compliance
General Labour relations processes, procedures and typing of minutes
Training and developmental processes
Assist with system related queries
Educational Requirements
Grade 12
Studying towards or finished a relevant tertiary qualification.
