Key responsibilities:
Lead the HR function at the property level, ensuring full compliance with Group HR policies and statutory requirements.
Partner with Heads of Departments to drive manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Champion performance management, learning and development, and talent retention strategies.
Manage employee relations, discipline, and welfare in alignment with company policy and labor laws.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the HR team.
Ensure accurate HR reporting, documentation, and coordination with the Group HR office.
Qualifications & experience:
Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field.
CHRP (K) certification and valid IHRM membership are mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years at management level in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
