To provide comprehensive human resource support and ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance organizational performance, employee engagement, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection


Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertisements, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future staffing needs.
Ensure new employee documentation, induction, and orientation are properly executed.


Employee Relations & Welfare


Promote healthy employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and disciplinary management.
Handle grievances, investigations, and ensure fairness in all HR-related matters.
Support initiatives that enhance employee motivation, retention, and engagement.


Performance Management


Coordinate the performance appraisal process and track employee performance objectives.
Support line managers in setting performance goals and providing continuous feedback.
Identify performance gaps and recommend training or corrective actions.


Training & Development


Conduct training needs assessments and develop annual training plans.
Coordinate internal and external learning and development programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and maintain accurate training records.


HR Compliance & Record Management


Maintain updated employee records in both physical and digital formats.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and company policies.
Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, turnover, leave, and disciplinary reports.


Payroll Support & Benefits Administration


Support payroll processing by ensuring timely submission of employee changes and attendance data.
Administer staff benefits including leave, insurance, and statutory deductions.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of payroll information.


Health, Safety & Employee Wellness


Participate in promoting health and safety awareness programs.
Support employee wellness and work-life balance initiatives.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.


HR Strategy & Continuous Improvement


Contribute to the formulation and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Support organizational culture initiatives, diversity, and inclusion programs.


Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification in HR (CHRP, Diploma in HRM, or IHRM membership) is mandatory.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' progressive experience in HR operations, preferably in a technology, logistics, or service-oriented company.
In-depth knowledge of the Kenyan Employment Act, labor relations, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, and data reporting tools.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
