Our client seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee relations, and HR systems management in a structured work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer payroll processes accurately and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy).
Prepare and reconcile statutory returns.
Coordinate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) initiatives.
Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters.
Maintain accurate HRIS records.
Support performance management processes and KPI tracking.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a structured organization.
Professional qualification (IHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Proven hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws.
High accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple HR priorities independently.
