Role Summary

The HR & Administration Manager will oversee the company's human resources and administration functions, ensuring HR policies and guidelines are effectively implemented in line with the company's strategy. The role covers recruitment, employee management and development, training, personnel administration, labour relations, performance management, employee motivation, labour cost monitoring, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities


Manage recruitment and ensure timely staffing based on business needs.
Oversee personnel selection, including assessment of professional qualifications, motivation and financial suitability.
Develop and monitor personnel placement plans.
Manage and monitor the performance evaluation system.
Promote employee motivation and high-potential development initiatives.
Forecast, monitor and report labour costs and staff budgets.
Oversee HR administration, remuneration practices and employment-related regulatory requirements.
Manage employee travel, missions and personnel deployment.
Manage relationships with unions and workers' representatives.
Manage employment contracts, collective agreements and labour-related disputes.
Resolve employee and labour relations issues.
Manage the training function and maintain employee training records.
Maintain updated CVs and personnel records.
Ensure immigration compliance.
Ensure HR reporting compliance with NCDMB requirements.
Ensure HR reporting to relevant statutory bodies.


HSSE Responsibilities


The role will also be responsible for supporting and enforcing health, safety and environmental requirements, including:
Implementing and maintaining safety and health policies.
Ensuring a safe and controlled working environment.
Ensuring employees receive appropriate safety training.
Monitoring accident trends and implementing corrective actions.
Supporting accident investigations.
Enforcing hazard-control procedures and safety inspections.
Supporting safety training and awareness programmes.
Participating in safety committee activities and following up on recommendations.


Requirements


Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.
Registration/membership with a relevant professional body.
10+ years\' experience in HR Management.
At least 5 years\' experience as an HR Manager in multicultural and international environments.
Good knowledge of economic and financial matters.
Good knowledge of contracts, industrial relations and labour discipline.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
