Key Responsibilities


Responsible for the development, coordination, and administration of human resources policies and procedures.
Responsible for designing and maintaining a competitive and merit-based compensation management system in support of the company's vision and strategy.
Provide HR administrative functions in the areas of recruitment, training and development, people and performance management.
Supervise and monitor the Payroll and compensation administration.
Investigate grievances, complaints, and legal actions and provide support in resolving disciplinary issues.
Liaising with external providers for supplies for office administration.
Responsible for compliance with all employee laws, such as health, life, and pension policies.
Conduct an orientation program for new employees.
Collaborate with employees to ensure that welfare services provided are in line with management and employee needs.
Monitor and review the system of performance appraisal along with line managers and department heads.
Develop and implement corporate HR strategy in line with short to medium-term aspirations of the firm.
Manage the Company-wide staff training budget; recommend, implement, and report on the approved training programmes.
Proactively develop, revise, and implement HR policies to improve company - wide efficiency.
Develop and implement a best-fit career and succession planning framework and provide career counselling to members of staff.
Proactively report on, and advise Management on all strategic HR issues.
Drive the imbuing and harmonisation of the desired Company culture.
Review, update, and maintain proper filing of insurance policy, HR handbook, performance appraisal form, and training schedules.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Administer benefits programs such as life insurance, health, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance programs.


Requirements

Key Requirements


First degree, preferably in Social Sciences or a Management-related discipline.
5+ years' experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Master's/MBA will be an added advantage.
Must have experience in building and delivering HR initiatives to scale up a company.
Membership of HR bodies such as CIPMN, CIPD, and SHRM is necessary.
Knowledge of ERP systems is a must.
Demonstrated knowledge of local and global HR 'landscape' - laws, practices, changes.
Must demonstrate a great understanding of the impact of culture on achieving organizational objectives and strategy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Leadership and analytical skills.
Must be highly resourceful and business-oriented.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
