ICT Security & Structured Cabling Technician at Smoothtel

Key Responsibilities


Install, test, and maintain cabling systems (Cat6, fiber).
Set up network hardware (racks, switches, patch panels).
Troubleshoot network/cabling issues and conduct site surveys.
Configure firewalls, routers, and endpoint security.
Monitor systems, apply updates, and support security compliance.
Provide ICT support and install CCTV systems (cameras, DVR/NVR). • Maintain documentation and logs.


Requirements:


Degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
2+ years' experience in cabling and ICT security.
Knowledge of fiber optics, networking tools, and security basics.
Certifications (CCNA, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
