Summary of the position

plays a crucial role in managing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of data collected from sub-national offices. S/he supports evidence-based decision-making by maintaining efficient data systems and facilitating data-driven learning.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains centralized MEAL databases and dashboards.

• Ensures interoperability between different MEAL tools and software (Kobo, Power BI, EMR, etc.).

• Leads the development of data visualization tools for reporting and decision-making.

• Ensures data consistency, accuracy, and security across all sub-national offices.

• Develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, cleaning, and validation.

• Conducts data quality assessments (DQAs) and provides feedback to field teams.

• Reports to UN clusters.

• Support sector teams in designing, testing, and building digital data collection tools

• Contribute to the development and improvement of data management systems (e.g., HIS) and provide technical feedback.

• Support program and partner staff in using digital data management systems and tools.

• Follow up on timely and accurate data entry into central data aggregation systems.

  Support data analysis requests to inform monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making processes.

THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications required:

• A university degree in computer engineering, IT, analytics, or any related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing and managing health information systems or relevant fields with INGOs.

Languages:

• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic (mother tongue)
• Intermediate written and spoken English
