Information Technology (IT) Manager

Role Purpose Ensure the effective acquisition, deployment and management of business-focused ICT resources and the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused ICT services that support WAEP's upstream business operations Core Competencies ICT strategy and governance Infrastructure and enterprise applications Cybersecurity and information risk ERP implementation and support Disaster recovery and business continuity Vendor and SLA management IT project and budget management Leadership and customer service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ICT systems availability and downtime ICT project delivery within budget and schedule Cybersecurity incident and control performance User/customer satisfaction SLA performance ICT budget accuracy and cost efficiency Business benefits realized from technology Investments Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the ICT strategy, supporting plans, policies and procedures in line with corporate strategy. Prepare and manage the annual ICT budget and monitor expenditure and return on technology investments. Plan and control projects for the selection, acquisition, development, installation and maintenance of major information systems and infrastructure. Ensure availability, reliability and performance of ICT platforms, networks, end-user systems, applications and peripherals. Lead deployment, implementation and support of ERP and other enterprise business applications. Develop and implement information-security procedures and evaluate risks associated with critical ICT operations Direct development and testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity arrangements for ICT services. Manage software licensing system capacity, technology lifecycle and application performance. Manage ICT vendors, Internet and telecommunications service providers and associated service-level agreements. Define technology requirements with business stakeholders, monitor emerging technologies, and lead and develop ICT personnel. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 10-15 years relevant ICT experience, including significant management responsibility in a complex organization; oil and gas experience is strongly preferred. Relevant professional certifications in IT service management, cybersecurity, cloud, networking. project management or enterprise systems are strongly preferred.
