Key Responsibilities
Warehouse operations
Accurate counting and recording of stock in the warehouse in accordance with daily cycle count plan
Daily stock auditing
Variance investigations within 24hr of discovery
Empty locations auditing
FIFO/FEFO compliance auditing
Identifying and escalate stock errors to the relevant inventory supervisor to ensure immediate action is taken.
Ensure WMS is updated on time with outbound/inbound movements.
Carry out all delegated tasks from relevant inventory supervisor /Controller.
Keep accurate stock counting records
Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE
Support in enforcing the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE) all the time by the warehouse operatives
Make at least thirty (30) Safety Observations per month
Timely incident reporting and investigations (RCA) within 12 hours of occurrence
Manage all tools and equipment in use within the working area to ensure they are in safe working condition all the times.
Support in enforcing all QHSE regulations to ensure safe working conditions and practice within the Warehouse always
Toolbox meetings attendance
Safety stand downs attendance
Proper stacking standards
Clear gangways, fire points and emergency exits policy
No damage on the product
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma
Added advantages; -
Tertiary education in either logistics or supply chain management
WMS experience
Training in MS Office suite and other industry related courses
