Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Alignment
Develop and execute the enterprise IT strategy and roadmap aligned with institutional objectives.
Collaborate with academic, clinical, administrative, and finance departments to identify IT needs, prioritize projects, and deliver solutions.
Operations & Systems Management
Oversee IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, databases, endÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂuser support, and service desk functions.
Manage selection, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise systems (EHR/EMR, LMS, ERP, financial systems, research databases, collaboration tools).
Risk, Security & Compliance
Lead cybersecurity programs, data privacy initiatives, and compliance with data protection and health information standards.
Establish disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and incident response plans.
Financial & Vendor Management
Direct vendor management, contract negotiations, and performance oversight of IT providers.
Manage IT budget, optimize costs, forecast needs, and ensure ROI on technology investments.
Team Leadership & Development
Build and lead a highÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂperforming IT team; assess organizational structure, staffing needs, skills gaps, and talent development.
Digital Enablement & Innovation
Drive digital enablement, automation, analytics, and adoption of secure technologies to support remote learning, telemedicine, and administrative efficiency.
Governance & Performance Monitoring
Monitor IT performance metrics, service levels, and emerging risks, report regularly to executive leadership.
Promote IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices across the institution.

Academic and Professional Qualifications and experience required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required).
Master's degree (MBA, MS in IT Management, Health Informatics) strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role in healthcare, higher education, or similarly regulated environments.
InÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂdepth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Proven expertise in enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, data governance, cloud migration, and regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, vendor management, and IT service management.
Demonstrated success in budget management, team leadership, change management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
