Primary Responsibilities
Oversee the IT portfolio for the company or business unit.
Implement Group IT strategies locally while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Serve as the primary contact between business units and IT for delivering technology solutions, managing services, mitigating risks, and building relationships.
Implement IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and compliance standards; adapt Group policies to local needs.
Manage IT infrastructure including SD-WAN, LAN networks, servers, CCTV systems, telephony, end-user devices, and manufacturing technologies.
Act as IT advocate across departments, prioritizing excellent user experience.
Work with departments to assess business needs, identify ERP and technology requirements, and coordinate with Group IT for system integration.
Lead local IT projects, application updates, change requests, and product testing.
Handle IT procurement, optimize purchasing costs, and manage asset lifecycles.
Regularly audit, maintain, and enhance IT systems for optimal performance and business relevance.
Prepare and manage the IT budget with detailed expenditure reports.
Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Plan and deliver IT projects and solutions effectively within the organization.
Collaborate closely with Group IT on projects and operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, emphasizing business operations and management.
Master's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology preferred.
Experience
At least 10 years in senior IT leadership roles within complex environments.
Proven business management expertise combined with strong technical capabilities.
Practical experience managing ERP systems (implementation, maintenance, optimization).
Understanding of emerging technologies including SD-WAN, cybersecurity, IIoT, and AI.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations and SAP S/4HANA ERP systems.
