Job Summary
The IT Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, security, and optimization of the bank's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues promptly.
Provide first-level support for the bank's Core Banking System.
Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery testing.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of IT support experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Experience supporting banking applications and IT infrastructure
Good understanding of CBN IT guidelines, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance within the financial sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
