IT Security Analyst

JOB DUTIES Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools. Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing Review system and network logs for suspicious activities Implement and maintain security controls and best practices Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards EDUCATION REQUIREMENT Bachelor's degree/HND in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) Experience with Windows and Linux systems Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection tools Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is an advantage
