The Data Migration Specialist or Conversion Specialist coordinates a project plan that includes analysis of converted data from one HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to another. The specialists use critical thinking and identify if there are any discrepancies between the data. This includes researching complex data sets, identifying if there are variances in the data and clearly communicating to their leaders the variances found in the data. The conversion specialist is also responsible for completing a formal project tracker of their progress and variances found.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with internal partners on system requirements, providing input as needed on unique client complexities and incomplete setup.
Familiarization with current client design in prior system, to ensure new system will meet client needs and provide the client with "What to expect now" scenarios where sizable differences are identified.
Provide accurate updates regarding client conversion status, appropriately raising and documenting risks, or barriers to go-live.
Track outstanding client-level issues and ensure resolution.Participation in process improvement initiatives.
Accountability for an assigned grouping of clients, successfully managing their conversion to go-live process.'

Requirements
Excel knowledge (Basic).
Able to effectively manage multiple projects and attend to daily client matters while maintaining focus and following through on issues until resolved and delivering results.
Strong organization skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Works independently and is self-motivated.Must be able to meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects
