Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including cash flow and budget performance reports.
Perform reconciliations for bank statements, ledgers, and invoices.
Support compliance with applicable standards (i.e., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Process and document payments on bank platforms.
Maintain records for asset registers, invoices, and operational expenses.
Assist with monthly management account preparation and financial reporting.
Provide timely and accurate financial information to the Accountant and management.
Collaborate with external auditors by organizing and supplying required documentation.
Ensure timely remittances and filings of taxes and statutory deductions.
Process invoices promptly and accurately, facilitating seamless financial transactions with our partners and vendors
Record and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that financial obligations are met and funds are received promptly.
Manage payroll and employee expense claims.
Qualifications, Skill Sets, And Values
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
2-3 years of accounting or finance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Understanding of tax filings and compliance requirements.
Strong organisational, numeracy, and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment is required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
