ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the company.
The role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with account reconciliations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills, with the ability to contribute to efficient financial management and accountability within the Finance Department.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


Postings of accounting entries and journals.
Processing supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
Bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly financial reports.
Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Record Keeping.
Statutory compliance and tax deductions.
Internal and external audit.
Undertake other finance and accounting duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


CPA Part IV minimum or equivalent accounting qualification is a requirement.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field is mandatory.
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Knowledge of accounting systems and ERP software will be an advantage i.e. Sage.
At least 1 - 2 years' experience in accounting or finance-related work.
Experience in accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
