Junior Building QS - Construction Industry at RPO Recruitment

Job Description


RPO Recruitment's client, an established building contractor is seeking a motivated Junior Building Quantity Surveyor to join their site team on a retail development in Pretoria.
This position is available immediately and will initially be offered on a limited-duration contract, with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance.


Key Responsibilities:


Measurement of labour-only subcontractor work (brickwork, plaster, formwork, etc.)
General site measurement and quantity verification
Administration of Contract Instructions
Attending and contributing to site meetings
Assisting with order quantity verification and better buying
Supporting the commercial team with day-to-day site QS duties


Requirements:


National Diploma in Building/BTech/BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
Approximately 1 - 2 years of practical site experience
Have completed their studies and be available for full-time work
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be comfortable interacting daily with subcontractors and site labour
Be computer literate and detail-oriented
Proficient in MS Office, RIB CCS Candy, QTO, BuildSmart
Own transport preferred


Benefits:


Salary: R120K - R300K CTC per annum
