A client of ours within the Engineering Consulting sector is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer who is interested in learning to become an Engineer Underwriter to join their team. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience
Strong ability to interpret data, assess technical risks, and use rating tools
Responsibilities:
Assesses, prices, and accepts risk for technical insurance policies covering construction projects, machinery, and equipment.
Evaluate engineering risks for new business and renewals, including technical specs for machinery, construction projects, and specialized equipment
Conduct site surveys or reviews to evaluate risk quality
