Job Description


A South African distributor specializing in print management, document security, and digital transformation software to streamline business workflows, is seeking a Junior Support Agent who will serve as the first line of defense for our proprietary document management, process automation, and print management software ecosystems.


Responsibilities:


Tier 1 Support: Act as the initial point of contact, managing triage and ticket logging.
Troubleshooting: Perform basic technical problem-solving and issue resolution.
System Upkeep: Assist with routine system maintenance and software updates.


Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience required across the following areas:


Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (2016+).
Operating Systems: Navigating Windows Desktop and Windows Server (2016+) environments, including managing basic services and software packages.
Web Servers: Basic IIS (Internet Information Services) management settings.
Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and an introductory understanding of JavaScript for client-side form logic.
Networking: Basic understanding of network setup and configuration.
AI Literacy: Basic understanding of AI concepts and natural language prompting.


Preferred:


Databases: PostgreSQL experience.
OS Environments: Navigation and basic service management in Linux and macOS.
Integrations: Basic understanding of APIs and data movement between software platforms.
Data Parsing: Experience with Regular Expressions (RegEx) for data validation and pattern matching.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with document management and workflow technologies.
