Position Summary

The Laboratory Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for diagnostic laboratory services. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting laboratory services to healthcare providers, corporate clients, insurers, and community partners.

The ideal candidate will combine strong sales skills with a good understanding of healthcare or diagnostic services, and the ability to build long-term, value-driven client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development


Identify, target, and engage prospective clients including clinics, hospitals, corporate wellness programs, insurance partners, and community health initiatives.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct sales presentations and prepare proposals for laboratory services.
Grow and manage a strong client portfolio to drive repeat business and referrals.


Client Relationship Management


Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely follow-up and excellent service delivery.
Respond to client inquiries, quotations, and service requests professionally.
Maintain strong working relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.


Market Intelligence & Reporting


Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance forecasts.
Provide market feedback to management to support service improvement and strategic decisions.


Internal Coordination & Compliance


Work closely with laboratory, operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Support marketing initiatives, awareness campaigns, and client engagement activities.
Ensure all sales activities comply with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.
2 - 4 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably within healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services, or pharmaceuticals.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a defined sales territory.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting is an added advantage.
