Job Summary
The Laboratory Supervisor will oversee all laboratory operations, ensure compliance with construction quality standards, and manage testing procedures for road and building projects.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise laboratory and field testing activities.
Review and approve test results and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant construction standards and specifications.
Oversee testing of bituminous materials (Marshall Stability, Flow, Bitumen Extraction, Penetration tests).
Supervise soil and geotechnical tests (Proctor Density, CBR, Atterberg Limits, Hydrometer Analysis).
Monitor concrete and aggregate testing (mix design verification, compressive strength, sieve analysis).
Oversee diesel testing, water quality checks, and chemical soil stabilization processes.
Manage borrow pit evaluation and material source approval.
Ensure proper calibration, documentation, and reporting.
Lead and develop laboratory personnel.
Requirements
6+ years' experience in Road & Building Construction Quality Laboratory.
Strong technical knowledge of construction material testing.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong leadership and reporting skills.
