Description
The Lab Technician will support laboratory operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards in collaboration with medical staff for effective patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine and advanced diagnostic tests on patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
Prepare and process samples for testing.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Document and verify laboratory results accurately.
Assist in implementing quality control procedures.
Support senior staff with laboratory tasks and training.
Ensure compliance with MLSCN, NCDC, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
BMLS or HND in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology with MLSCN license.
1-2 years of experience, with experience in Blood Banking.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a diagnostic lab is a plus.
