Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:
Preparing media for germplasm production;
Standardizing laboratory procedures and reagents;
Dispatching analyzing and preserving test samples;
Simple analytical laboratory work;
Keeping records,
Collection and analysis of samples; and
Receiving, recording and packaging germplasm.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: - Applied Sciences (Applied Chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, applied Biology), Medical Laboratory
Technology or Biotechnology equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Proficiency in computer applications from a recognized institution;
