About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and passionate Landscaper to join our Facility Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal, health, and functionality of outdoor spaces across our clients\' facilities. This role requires hands-on experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and the safe operation of landscaping tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of plant care, lawn maintenance, irrigation systems, and landscape best practices while demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities


Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaped areas to the highest standards.
Carry out routine activities including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, weeding, watering, mulching, and fertilizing.
Plant and replace flowers, shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants as required.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, blowers, chainsaws, and other gardening tools.
Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, recommending appropriate treatment where necessary.
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides safely and in accordance with approved procedures and environmental regulations.
Maintain irrigation systems and ensure adequate watering schedules are followed.
Remove garden waste, leaves, debris, and litter from landscaped areas.
Assist in the implementation of landscape improvement and beautification projects.
Ensure all landscaping equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored after use.
Observe all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies while carrying out landscaping activities.
Report any safety hazards, damaged landscape features, or irrigation faults to the supervisor.
Provide courteous and professional service while working within client premises.


Requirements


Minimum of SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, gardening, or grounds maintenance, preferably within a Facility Management company.
Good knowledge of plant species, lawn care, pruning techniques, irrigation systems, and seasonal landscape maintenance.
Ability to safely operate landscaping machinery and gardening tools.
Basic knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and safe chemical handling practices.
Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining attractive outdoor environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of reliability, discipline, and professionalism
