Purpose of the Role
The Lead Consultant will provide overall technical leadership and quality assurance for the various client assignments. The consultant will lead the project from inception to completion, oversee stakeholder engagement, provide strategic direction, validate the job evaluation methodology, and ensure all deliverables meet professional and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of the entire consultancy assignment.
Review the Client's organizational structure, HR policies, and existing remuneration framework.
Recommend an appropriate job evaluation methodology.
Provide technical oversight during job analysis and evaluation.
Lead executive stakeholder interviews and management consultations.
Validate job evaluation outcomes and grading decisions.
Lead market remuneration benchmarking.
Develop the proposed grading structure and salary architecture.
Present findings to Management, HR Committee, and the Board.
Review and approve all project deliverables before submission.
Provide implementation recommendations and change management guidance.
Demonstrate Versatile experience working with clients in Multiple sectors
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Full Membership with IHRM and in good standing and a practicing Certificate is an added advantage.
At least 7 years' experience in HR consulting.
Minimum 5 years' experience conducting Job Evaluation and Compensation & Benefits assignments.
Demonstrated experience delivering similar projects within the service Industry, financial services, NGO, Academic Institutions.
Strong knowledge of recognized job evaluation methodologies (Hay, Mercer, Point Factor, etc.).
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
